tears for fears "mad world"

Luke and I are back in Melbourne after an insane moving venture over the weekend. In classic style, the boy was completely unprepared meaning we didn't get to leave Sydney until 6pm on Sunday night. Then there was that freak storm that caused a panic, what with the trailer half full of books already, followed by frantic attempts to salvage what could be saved, and protect that which hadn't yet fallen. Of course the rest of the trip was a series of mishaps - one after the other - but at last things seem to be settling down.

While I trot off to work Luke is out househunting, searching for the perfect love nest to satisy both our requirements (HIM: green, leafy, secluded, no close neighbours, views of rolling hills and valleys; ME: close to transport, the semblance of proximity to cinemas, cafes, uni etc, gorgeous enough to save me lamenting the move from Northcote).

He seems to be feathering my pillow by setting up a spiffy new desktop computer for me (a burner at last!), perhaps in the hope I will care less that my home requirements be satisfied...
