(not such a) ba' bow!
Over the past week I had some family visiting amidst the craziness of the con and Lounge Critic. It's been six months since I've seen my baby brother Oskar and he's grown up so much. Still a bizarre prodigy of vocabulary and an all round sweet guy, but he's more strongwilled and driven than back in December.
He was, as ever, fixated with the poor, tolerant cat. Dancing around him and patting him attentively while professing "what a beautiful cat" he is.

He's such a pleasure to take out. He's inquisitive but well behaved, and will eat just about anything. Downing squid, prawns, chinese mushroom and duck in equal measure at the glorious Thanh Thanh on Victoria St. He puts most adults to shame.
We spent Saturday out on the town and headed for NGV on route to the Botanical Gardens. He was smitten with the water wall and coloured glass ceiling.

Luke and I miss them already. Tammy flew back on Sunday night, dad and Oskar boarded the train on Monday morning. Any 2 1/2 year old who can enjoy an 11 hour train ride is one golden child...
