chanel cole is my idol

Chanel Cole She's just exquisite. And I can't help but be seduced by her romantic looks and curious vocal delivery.

Idol has never been my thing. I could care less about the group of kids who made it through last year. Samey sameness. Mariah Carey, Usher, JT and Jessica Simpson wannabes. Or even worse - stuff your nan loves to listen to. Blah. And then this year I hear whispers about someone who is feminine and playful and sings an Ella Fitzgerald song with a massive red flower in her curly hair for her audition. I still wasn't convinced enough to actually tune in, but once I heard that Chanel did a version of Roy Orbison's Pretty Woman (hers was Pretty Boy) complete with miaows and theatrical flirting I decided that i must tune in and decide for myself.

So now I'm hooked. I actually watched Idol on Sunday and Monday nights, giving a damn what happened. Wanting more and more Chanel on my TV because everyone else pales in comparison. And because she sang Glory Box and didn't suck! But really I was just too mesmerised with her coquettish performance to even care...

yes yes yes! i was absolutely struck by her beauty and her unique style. she's gorgeous, seductive and someone who seems as though they'd be great to hang out with... not to mention great to watch. she's the only one out of the whole bunch of riff raff that i actually care about.

yes, she's such a girl's girl. we can appreciate the seductive beauty.

and i've found quite a collection of sites already devoted to her! she's clearly captivated a particular group. i'm calling it the 'dissaffected arty yoof' vote.

Its a weird phenomenon, when the judges say "Glory Box" is too weird, and she looks at them confidently and is able to say "not for real music fans".

She is the missing image that pop talent shows were missing, but how long she'll stick around will determine how interesting her phenomenon becomes.

I missed her...though I did see the 16-year old who performed last night, who had the most beautiful voice I've hear in a long time...

i love chanel!!! she's the best!! i know i cant belive the judges didnt like glory box!! i luved it!! shes so talented and a born performer; shes just so natural on stage.

I love chanel but its a pity that shes on aus idol. If she wins or is in the top four and gets a record deal then she will forever be known as 'chanel cole - australian idol' and will be labeled for the rest of her career. And people that would have been fans of her but don't like australian idol will never get to know how talented and georgeous she is.
