iFangirl

I've got myself a shiny new baby iBook and I've already joined the cult.

Pray for my soul.

Edit: I'm planning to knit a sleeve/cozy for the wee moppet so I'm on the lookout for a pattern. I've seen this crochet version but haven't found a knitted equivalent I can work from. Anyone got a hot tip for me?

The Stitch 'n Bitch book has iPod cozies, maybe you could adjust the pattern to fit the larger size? Or, check out craftster.com? If not, I know you can do it quite basically by just knitting a big square/rectangle and sewing the seams. Crochet isn't as hard as it looks, if you give it a go.

By the way I missed Tuesday's ep. of OC, can you give me an update pretty please?!

re: the cozy... i'm currently entertaining the idea of felting it to create a more substantial cover. And then attaching an external pocket for the power supply perhaps with a monkey face appliqued on it (also from felted wool).

But I'll keep you posted :)

Re: The OC 'The Links'. In brief terms: CreepyOliver ups the ante and feigns attempted suicide to lure Marissa deeper into his web of deceit. Ryan suspects. Seth and Anna get totally cute and geriatric and Summer pours cold water on their impending love-in by suggesting in a cute way that they're "just like brother and sister! hee hee!". Luke is being a decent guy. Sandy is just the coolest. I lahv him.

pssst crochet works heaps better as a cosy as the stitches are denser = lots stronger.
