Meteorologist for OS X
I have found my own personal dream application for OS X. It speaks to both the MacAddict and the WeatherNerd in me. It is Meteorologist.
Instead of loading and reloading the BOM site several times a day (yes, i am that much of a dork) I now have the current conditions not only outside my window but right there in my menubar, complete with pretty icon:
And to top it all off, an extended forecast is just a menu away:

I have been embarassingy enthused about this since yesterday. Lots of opportunity for configuration and whatnot. And did I mention the pretty icons?
And yes, you did read that temperature right. It's 17°C at 2:35pm in Summer. Aaah, Melbourne.

well that's the beauty of melbourne... it can reach that temp easily in winter too!
Today we're supposed to get 32C and then tomorrow 20C. That's my life.

The fact that it's 17 in Melbourne in summer makes me smile, cos I'm in Seattle and it's winter and there have been days recently where it's been getting almost that warm.
I think I need that program for my Mac.
